Lioncrest was established in 1991, founded by Terry and Carol Hughes. Terry has always worked in the area of publishing and specialised in children’s education. Terry was born in Auckland, New Zealand where he established Ashtons Scholastic, he then set up Scholastic in Australia where he worked for 20 years before transferring to Scholastic, New York. Carol has worked in the areas of publishing and marketing and ran her own Public Relations, TV Production and Marketing company, Lineup, for 15 years.
