PLD (Promoting Primary Literacy)
Packs for Years 1 - 3 

Developed by Australian speech pathologist and educator, Diana Rigg, these packs offer evidence-based approach to teaching literacy and include BONUS ONLINE TRAINING for teachers.   

Phoneme-grapheme teaching, reading and writing activities and the introduction of high frequency, phonetically irregular word are included.

PLD provides an Australian, evidence-based approach to Structured Synthetic Phonics (SSP) for primary schools. Aligned with the Science of Reading.

PLD's method is derived from the disciplines of speech pathology, occupational therapy and education.

Foundation Pack

The Foundation Pack consists of two pre-literacy programs designed to prepare Year 1 students for PLD’s stage 1. Once these pre-literacy skills have been established, the CVC, digraph and CCVC reading, spelling and writing programs are to be presented.

PLD Foundation Pack $300 ea

Year 1 Pack

The Year 1 Pack includes all that is required to systematically target stage 1 and early stage 2 concepts. The programs facilitate repeated targeted practice at a reading, spelling and writing level. The pack also includes materials for low level students in Year 2.

Year 2 Pack

The Year 2 Pack is flexible enough to cater for Year 2 students still operating at a stage 1 level, while providing plenty of reading, spelling and writing targeted teaching tasks for students operating at a stage 2 level. For Year 3.
